Start by reminding yourself of the similarity bias that could be clouding your judgment. Slow doesn't mean not passionate. Quiet doesn't means not passionate. Often charm is just a sign of extraversion and fast processing, so strip away this person charmed me or this person spoke quickly. Every interview is an opportunity to check your biases and really listen to what the candidate is bringing to the table.
