Silver Futures Return Negative 20% Annualized
The I shares Silver Trust has returned negative 5% annualized from February 3rd, 2021 through June 12th, 2023. That compares to 2.4% annualized for the Spider Gold shares, GLD. If an investor was an aggressive speculator, they could have used an ETF that invest in Silver Futures. The ProShares Ultra SilverETF, AGQ, seeks to deliver twice the daily performance of the Bloomberg Silver subindex.
