The Role of the Regulator State in Stagnation
The regulatory state has been a pretty big factor in energy stagnation, he says. Until the Nuclear Regulatory Commission was formed, U.S. energy consumption per capita was growing at about 2%. Today it would be 75% of the way to the super abundance definition that I'm talking about,. So we'd be almost there. And so that's been a role that've been a player.
