Is There Much to Reproduce in Psychology?

Most findings in psychology do replicate. But does it come with an explanation as to why? Is it in terms of means and behavior, the ideas that people have what's going on in minds? What we want is an explanation in terms of ideas. That's what psychology should be about. It would be very surprising if someone in biology wase show that the darwin was fundamentally wrong when it came to evolution by natural selection. There are no mutations and there is no natural selection,. something like that. The problem is that surprising is a synonym for low or probability. Even if the quality of evidence is constant, we should have a lower credence ind claims that are surprising.
