When you work with healthcare professionals, they might not understand what the shap value or machine learning algorithms are. You learn a lot by thinking about how to communicate with them and explaining things. So what is our approach to explain those technical terms to people who don't have the background? I just try really hard to think like the person and then make a PowerPoint presentation that would work for me. It doesn't always work because it's just sometimes the cognitive gap is too large.
