Migration recipes are heavily inspired from andrew cane's ruby on rails library called strong migrations. They're interacting with the same data bases at ectos that Normalan interact with. These are mostly data base nuances that we just need to know how to translate well in Cto. And sometimes ecto gave us another alternative to solving some of these problems.
