The Effect of Environmental Changes on STD Use in Mechanically Ventilated Patients

The salucia study was one of the first trials conducted using a commercially used intervention powered to look at the effect of mortality. The use of STD did not reduce eye-seumortality, significantly reduced the duration of the chemical ventilation, or in the incidence or the ICU hospital admission. And further, the use of STD was not associated with increased antibiotic use. We submit that the range and the error, and the degree of dispersion includes a potentially positive clinical result.
