The Legacy of John Quincy Adams

This is a family that had a very strong place in the destiny of the United States. In every generation, it says though, all of the genius and ability to withstand the pressure goes to one person. Then the others and it's really actually quite tragic. Most of John Cugh's siblings miscarried. His sister, Naby, had breast cancer and died from that at a time when we had no real response to such things. The sense of not entitlement but responsibility of all of the sons is such that you can't help but feel two things: It must have been difficult to be in that family.
