Is It a 'Tree Planting' Lobby?

On March 20th, around the world there was an international day of wood. Heather says she wanted to see if this was a counter message that forests are forest but we also need wood. She asks: Do you can't just plant trees and assume that they're going the're the right trees? And does it really take five years for them to become stable in their new home?
