I Know You're Getting to the Gospel When My Heart Melts

The sermon on the Mount is one that would be so easy to do in anger, you know, what do you have against your brother adultery. The second thing that can happen is it can become very intellectual. So often we want to moralize that into us facing our giants. But if the Bible teacher communicates that text traveling through the cross saying that it's Jesus whom God has sent to save you, well, that's a whole different trajectory I'm moving on.
