Is There True Altruism?

The distinction between altruism and selfishness is very hard to make. Even humans, when we are purely altruistic, we get a good feeling from it. So basically you have a self reward that is built into the altruistic behavior. And of course, empathy evolved in many species because it had benefits for them.
