What's the Point of Existential Panic?
We tend to think of the world in terms of narratives. We imagine that a balancing of the scales is going to eventually occur, right? Because that's how stories work. But justice is not a law in nature. Nature is just empty. Is in bloody claws. Its laws are murder, brutality and madness looked at through a human lens. I'm bringing this up because in order to understand existential panic, it is really important to understand what it really means to be threatened. The decisions that we make, the stakes are very low. It's a nightmare. How about the and of your people? We can't even conceive of something like that if you live in the developed world.
