The Story of Toussan Louvature

General leclaire lured tuson to a plantation house to talk it all through. Tusan arrived with 20 guards, but left them out front while he went inside. He was then taken quickly to a boat waiting in the harbor at gonaive. Toussan louveture was a political genius and had he lived in practically any other time or place, he would be as famous as any other great leader in history. But he suffers both for being a big fish in a very small pond, and because that pond was a successful slave revolt.
