The Precautionary Principle
If a study came out proving that repeated head impacts called CTE, there is evidence of that. And an epidemiologist will say that to infer causality, inductive reasoning is very difficult. But the point is, again, if you adopt a precautionary principle, what would the sport do? Like what action would be taken against the precautionary principle? I would argue that you're going to say, let's put energies into reducing head impacts. Let's study how they happen. Let's change the laws to try and prevent them.
