Many cultures that practise embodiment use the very specific language leaving the body. Indian trance practitioners say they are taken away, seized. There's not a conflict between just being and journeying. The two coexists at once. To be present requires travelling. And whether you're a non dualist, as all it takes to find our way home is sitting and realizing our own true nature that's already there to begin with,. or a duallist, who sees the human journey in terms of exile
