I Was on a Bear Activity Warning Sign

The man asked me if I was hiking alone all while maintaining that creepy smile throughout our entire exchange. He purposely dropped the leash from his extremely well behaved dog. This all seemed very odd like it was some sort of training exercise and I was some kind of prey. Before we parted ways he asked me which way the main trail was so I pointed him toward the direction of the parking lot. thinking that he must have been trying to get back to his car right?
