Chatbots and the Turing Test of Intelligence

I'm less persuaded by the current crop of chatbots I think they're still relatively easy to catch out. They are set up to do the same things that we're doing in our brains with neural networks maybe our experiences some sort of illusion and that we have no control over what we're doing. There's a lot of interesting speculation. But as many people have said before in practice it's really a test of human gullibility rather than machine intelligence.
