Lanzer is played by Nemy a Pearsoth, whose name I probably just butchered so I do apologise. He has this very kind of skittish manner and he's just sitting there piecing this puzzle together. Obviously very reminiscent of the images that we know about the Nazis in Nazi Germany. So does this rather tense scene where Lanzer keeps blirting out his life history? He's saying it because he can't remember who he is and he doesn't really comprehend. Fully just yet, he probably shouldn't say these things in present company.
