Optimising for the Long Term
Public companies have a lot more reporting, i'm assuming responsibilities and so forth. You're optimizing for the long term. The other thing that can't be underestimated is the just the ability to take risk and price risk more appropriately. When you don't have those quarterly obligations any more, it's a lot easier to make longer term investments. And life becomes a lot easy in terms of just engaging and moving transactions quickly.
