He Maketh His Angels Spirits, His Ministers a Flaming Fire
In verse four, he maketh his angels spirits, his ministers a flaming fire. He makes his messengers like wind, which then forms the parallel to the following line. The psalmist then continues glorying in all the wonders of creation, and says, in verse 24, o lord, how manifold are thy works. In wisdom, hast thou made them all? The earth is full of thy riches. There's beautiful imagery there, and so much of it is clothing, imagery clothed with honor, covered with light like a garment. And this is the same o creator who creates clothing for us as well,. A covering of the atonement, or that word in hebrew,
