IMO Carbon Intensity Calculation

The way that the CI is calculated using something called the annual efficiency ratio. Some industry folks have said that that's not a great measure because ultimately we are doing in this case is you're not really measuring how much cargo is being carried for a unit of carbon dioxide. So they would actually prefer to use a different measure for example something called PEOI which is the energy efficiency operational indicator, which actually looks at the cargo that's carried.
