I think originality comes from the mix of all those influences that then create something new. And a lot of what we do as we pretend not to listen to music when we're making music, because i feel like if i go and directly listen, i'll know it too well. You just have to kind of, ifou kind of to get it all down in the first half hour, otherwise it's hard to get back into it. I don't think there is any such thing as an original song - every melody you'll sing has sort of heard it before,.
