Agile - Concept Research and Evaluative Research for Sprint Three?

We are sitting with concept research on top of the agile framework, but we're still making it work within the scope of agile. So what would happen in that sense is that you do the evaluative research two weeks before and lead into the sprint, right? Or you could do evaluativeResearch for a week during the sprint. This is kind of like more like a design sprint, which is very, very difficult, but I just want to call out that it's possible.
