Black Death Mortality

People died at every, every level of society. Means that the epidemic might have exerted a strong selective force on the northern population. If the post-plague population included individuals who were exposed to and survived the black death, this episode of selection might at least part explain the very rapid apparent changes in mediaeval plague epidemiology.
