The Permission Frame for Design Leaders

To what extent does design necessitate organizational change if it is actually going to deliver on its value? For a lot of these leaders, they feel that if we're just delivering better product over and over again, that's not going far enough. The companies that would hire people like the folks that we interviewed are likely more permissive or have a greater maturity around these things.
