The Lovers

Her work was filled with images that drew on social consciousness and death and grief and mourning in 1913 she made this beautiful sculpture called The Lovers. She has an affair with a Viennese Jewish bookseller Hugo Heller who also has a little gallery and a publishing house he's the founder member of the Wednesday society where Freud first tests out his lectures on psychoanalysis. In 1910 she makes a series of drawings that she calls her saccreta her secret drawings in 1910 because rumor has it she had an affair with him. Her portfolio of death too contains some beautiful works, says Campbell Dodgison.
