Transhumanism to Existential Risk

The idea of existential risk is central to both transhumanism and long-termism. Bostrom thought, okay, in existential risk is any event that prevents us from creating this techno-utopian world of post-humanity. So if there are possible people in the far future who could exist, they should exist, and hence failing to create them would be some kind of moral tragedy. This is through chance transhumanism to existential risk for me to lead directly to the long-termist ideology.
