The Society of 17 80

Liberal nobles formed a new political club called the society of 17 89. The radical delegates still didn't trust the king. They wanted to tell louis what to do. So just as the newly founded jacobin club was coming into its own, it fractured. And for the rest of 17 90, it looked to many like the jacobins were not the future of the revolution, but rather a collection of men as dead ended as our fantacizing marquis.
