The United States and South Korea Are Trying to Stop the Flow of Money Into North Korea's Nuclear Program
What South Korea has been doing is trying to stand firm with the United States To make sure that they appear united So it's really a difficult time for any of these countries to think about negotiating Because what they do need is Russia and China to be on board You need all of North Korea's neighbors to be working together That has been one negotiating tactic in the past And right now frankly because of the war in Ukraine and strategic competition between the US and China It's been very difficult to get any united action at the human security council.
