Cities need to bring people into the towns. Public transport is as good here as it is anywhere in Ireland. People do want to drive here and do their shopping, they've got a whole load of bags... And it's that old argument of convenience of having the car. The other thing about it is having more cyclists in town. I just got my mother, my 90 year old mother into a wheelchair for the first time together right in the boat. This was a really big deal getting her into the wheelchair.
