There are businesses that cater to, you know, having long eyelashes. Eyelash extensions are probably a multi billion dollar industry. How many businesses would go out of business if we removed all the collective assumptions and group think and collective ego that exist within our culture? And so when you start to question those, people will get angry at you because, literally, you're threatening their livelihoods.
