The Codependency Dynamic

Many families I work with have enmeshed families, which basically is a combination of different codependency relationships. So that there's a passive person and in that person usually can't make the decisions for themselves. They have to follow the authority, right? Because they're not encouraged to individually. And then there's usually a more dominant personality, right? Like a husband over a wife or a wife over a husband or a mother over her son or a mother in law over her daughter-in-law. There's a codependency dynamic there.
