The Ellips Hotel in Downtown Atlanta

In downtown atlanta, a beautiful building covered in light sits on the corner of ellis and peach trees street. The first owner, william wink f had moved to georgia as a child in the late 18 hundreds. By his twenties, he was ready to build up atlanta. William built the ansley park neighborhood for his first project. And this neighborhood actually still stands today. In 19 29, the great depression came and william fell in hard times. He ended up selling the hotel to another family, but they allowed him and his family to stay and live in the hotel. But while things were looking up for the hotel, tragedy was right around the corner.
