Cliff Ravenscraft: "I didn't grow up with a dad and that has shaped me as a dad" He says he had two dads, one of whom was an alcoholic who died in 2015. His stepdad offered to adopt him when he was 5 or 6 years old; now he is his official adopted child. Cliff's father sounds like he's got multiple personalities but it's just different dads because he called them both dad.
In this deeply personal and revealing episode, I share my unique experiences with fatherhood, childhood trauma, and the healing journey that followed. I open up about having two dads, dynamics of my relations with each of them.
I also candidly discuss two significant mistakes I made as a father and the lessons I learned from them.
Perhaps the most profound part of this episode are the two metaphysical experiences I had after my biological dad's death that led to complete healing from childhood trauma and a restored relationship with him.
