I think he probably has become to believe it. Like over time, maybe he didn't believe in the beginning. But there's this phenomena of audience capture that I think is really fascinating. And so you say and do things that maybe you didn't originally believe, but now you've kind of deluded yourself into believing them. He was just doing it well before social media was even established.
