The National Security Implications of Higher Education
CNN's John Sutter has been covering higher education for almost 20 years. He says he first began to notice the national security implications of universities and intelligence agencies working together. The impetus for this book sort of came about by accident when he was at Bloomberg, writing a piece on Confucius Institutes in the U.S., which China partly funds. It turned out that one professor had been let go as director of the Confucius Institute due to an FBI investigation.
