How Far Away Did Scandinavian Trade Be?

Norse trade and travel could be carried out by sea along the coasts and also over land. This sort of travel was relatively difficult in summer due to mud and flooding rivers from meltwaters. And just the dense forests and rocky terrain were very difficult to cross, especially in Sweden. So important goods like animal hides or fish could be traded and exchanged around Scandinavia. Then on the sea lanes they also could then export and gain foreign goods.
