Is There a Problem With the Start Technology?
The start technology is quite elegant. There's a signal, and if you react to the signal fast, in a certain time, we can measure that really well. The problem is, if your equipment fails or doesn't work properly for whatever reason, now the whole thing is reliant on faulty parts,. And in this case, there is statistically confirmation that there was a problem. Is there any solution? I often think that when it comes to starting of sprinting events, why not have a slow motion camera that just visually shows you wtther somebody got a head start over the person next t him a? Or maybe oenot too pedantic.
