Start-ups tend to over focus on their competitors, and it is destructive in two ways. It diverts your attention from the actually important shint that you should be thinking about. By focusing on competitors and hating them, it makes you blind to both their strengths and weaknesses. The place where you should really focus or influence your strategy on based on your competition, is in winter.
