Nate Dogg, Warren G and Snoop are all from the same neighborhood within blocks from each other. The fact that they're friends I really think resonates on this record right like even when he says "I glanced in the cut and I see my homie Nate" It was life imitating art like it was exactly what was happening in that moment in time but that's whylike that's my favorite part of it because it's like man right as I'm about to give my shit beat up or I'll buy a dime I glanced at the cut and  see myhomie Nate just like the song it was art and timidIt was it was it was an excellent Warren
