The End of Emma Lazarus

In 18 85, emma's father, moses lazarus, died. She set sail for europe and kept travelling right into 18 87. But by the end of the year, she was not feeling well. Her eyesight had declined to the point that she could barely see. Lazarus never got to witness her poem's rise to fame because she died on november nineteenth, 18 87. The funeral was held at her home in new york, and then she was buried in cypress hills in brooklyn.
