The Impact of Childhood Trauma on Child Abuse
Most French children ended up on an orphanage. Those that did survive severe childhood trauma, cluster B disorders. I guess my suspicion also is that childhood trauma and child abuse existed since the dawn of time. You could argue was maybe even more severe back in the day before children were viewed as autonomous, subjective people in their own right.
