During part of his life, Ingo was a Scientologist. He later broke with the Church of Scientology. Before he published his book, Penetration, he had become much more friendly to Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular. Great apparitions of the Holy Mother have occurred on an average of about every ten years or so during the modern period.
