Using Nanopore to Generate a 1x Genome in 90 Seconds
With nanopore, it's a completely different technology. Of course, these are small protein pores through which DNA falls or is it kind of break as it falls through. To generate enough data to do a kind of clinical grade genome, it would take you about an hour. But that's significantly faster than we could achieve with our aluminum machines.
