The Problem With US Military Procurement
The Navy in this time of, you know, sandbox warfare was becoming quote unquote irrelevant. And the problem with the US saying we don't really need a Navy anymore is that like that in itself in the time of cutbacks means that the Navy is getting raided for budget to furnish data services. Like if Americans today could go back in time, they would just say, "We're going to keep up the capacity in the Navy" because even though right now it's not particularly relevant.
