The majority of linear B tablets at Knoasos talk about sheep and also the shepherds who were grazing them on the island. The female textile workers responsible for taking the lease from these sheep, spinning it into thread and then turning it into textiles. This is no accident really because I think that one of the major export products of KNoasos in the Bronze Age was dyed textiles. On creeds there are very few metals things like copper and tin, silver and gold so they're looking for commodities to trade with the Eastern Mediterranean.
