The Importance of a Neuroscience Degree
As an undergraduate, I learned what computational neuroscience actually was because there is a pretty good concentration of it at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon. And then I decided to switch up my coursework to take more mathematics and learn computer science and computer programming so that I could start doing research in computational neuroscience. Yeah. It felt like these mathematical models that are common in computational neuroscience, they were getting that more of a how and a why answer than just collecting data and experiments.Yeah. My masters is actually, I say it's in neuroscience, but it's in biology. It's just I only took neuroscience courses. So sometimes I'll say neurobiology, but my school just didn't offer
