The New York Times and the Rise of Social Media

The New York Times has started going, you guys need to shut up or you can go work someplace else. I think institutions are realizing that letting the religious zealots come in and dictate terms to everybody was a bad way to run an institution. And so it's really, frankly, to flatter all of us, important that we are coming together because when you're on the Internet, it's too easy to forget that this isn't what is happening for everyone.
