How to Segment a Vehicle's Colors
The next step is doing something called image segmentation, which is actually separating out the relevant objects in the image and classifying them as certain things. So it might be something like classifying another vehicle driving alongside the vehicle or pedestrians walking in the street,. The actual colors also play a role. Tesla found that whenever the sun was setting on this one testing test range or test road, I don't know if you want to call it, but it's just whatever pathway they were taking, the vehicle would end up taking a left. It came down to how the model was trained in the past and the fact that it failed to properly understand the differentiation of these colors.
