A lot of people get confused when they're asking me to do it a whole house design, because they'll say things like, well, I want 200 amp service. And then when we go through their actual list of appliances, I'm like, you probably will never use more than 40 amps at one time. That's if on the off chance that all of your freezers and refrigerators compressors come on at the same time while you're taking a bath and drying your clothes. So yeah, I can understand why those guys are like, ah, there's no way.
